    • I want to learn about ink and toner recycling

      Staples Rewards members receive $2 back in Staples Rewards for every eligible cartridge recycled in person in a Staples store or online, up to 10 per calendar month for Base members and 20 for Plus & Premier members, if the member has spent at least $30 in ink and/or toner purchases at Staples over the previous 180 days. Ink and/or toner purchases made on the date of recycling are calculated towards the minimum purchase requirement. Minimum purchase requirement is net of coupons, taxes and shipping charges. Ink Recycling rewards are issued monthly, separately from the standard Staples Rewards statement. Ink resellers and remanufactures are strictly prohibited from earning Ink Recycling Rewards. Limit one Staples Rewards account per person or at any mailing address. Additional accounts will be cancelled.

You can also recycle ink & toner cartridges; edit your Rewards account profile, get credit for missing purchases, and many other great features.

  • I need help with my Staples Rewards account
    • I want to add missing purchases (store, online, catalog or phone)

      Requirement: Must be logged in to Staples.com account
      Step 1: Navigate to the Add Receipt link under Quick Links on the right hand side of the Rewards Main page.
      Step 2: Choose the type of purchase from the options (Store, Catalog/Phone, Online).
      Step 3: Enter the required information from your store receipt, or your order number, then click submit.
      Store Receipts: Enter the 17-digit barcoded number at the bottom of your receipt.
      Catalog/Phone/Online Orders: Enter the 10-digit order number, and 6-digit shipment number. The shipment number is the number of boxes that were shipped for that order. For example, if you were shipped two boxes for one order, enter the order number and enter 000001 in the shipment number field for box one, enter the same order number and enter 000002 for box two. Continue this process for each box in your shipment. A maximum of 10 submissions will be accepted per day per customer. Purchases are applied to your account within 5 days after they have been validated. Purchases from the prior 2 calendar quarters can be submitted for validation.

    • I need a new card

      A Rewards card is no longer required at the time of purchase to get credit for your purchases. In order to get credit for your purchases:
      In-Store: Provide the phone number associated with the Rewards account to the cashier and they can look up your account during checkout.
      Online: Enter the Rewards number in your Staples.com profile under My Account. Click Edit on the Staples Rewards® Member Number field.
      Phone: Mention your 10-digit Staples Rewards number to the customer support agent at the beginning of your order.

    • How will I receive my Rewards?

      It’s your choice!

      If you prefer to receive your Rewards in the mail, just go to your Rewards profile and select that option or call 1-800-793-3320.

      If you prefer to receive your Rewards through email, just make sure we have your correct email address. Login and update it now. Electronic Rewards arrive weeks earlier than mailed Rewards and can be redeemed on your mobile device.

      All Rewards, including standard and Ink Recycling Rewards, will be issued online if you don't opt in to receive your Rewards in the mail. With electronic Rewards, we'll send you an email letting you know when you have Rewards available. Once you log on to staples.com/rewards, just choose View and Print Reward.

    • Why should I give Staples my email address?

      We recommend that you use your email address as your user name. If you choose to receive your Rewards electronically, we will email you a notification when your Rewards are available on staplesrewards.com. If you choose to receive your Rewards electronically and do not provide an email address, we will not be able to notify you when your Rewards are ready.

    • Does Staples sell or rent customer email addresses?

      No. Staples will not sell or rent email addresses provided by customers.

    • What if I don't have an email address?

      You don't need an email address to get your Rewards statements. You can set up a profile on staplesrewards.com without providing an email address. If you don't have a printer available, you can print Rewards in our retail stores at the Special Orders computer.

    • I want to learn about Bonus Events

      Rewards members get access to special savings opportunities throughout the year.
          • Bonus Events – All members are eligible for special rewards back promotional offerings such as 100% back in rewards on batteries or double ink recycling rewards with minimum purchase requirements. Check out our Weekly Ad for these limited-time extra savings.
          • Premier-exclusive bonus events – Premier members will receive an exclusive coupon a few times per year. These will be available on the Bonus Events page and Coupon Wallet.

      Plus members get $25 of free Copy & Print services and Premier members get $50 of free Copy & Print services. Use it all at once or for multiple orders on things like custom printing, brochures and booklets, business forms, and business cards. When you are ready to redeem these savings, print your coupon from the Copy & Print benefit page and bring it to your local store.
      If you do not use all the savings on your initial purchase, then the coupon shown on your Copy & Print benefit page will reflect your remaining savings available within 48 hours. Simply re-print the coupon on that page to use the remaining savings shown.

    • Why do I need to ship ink cartridges separately from toner?

      Toner cartridges are heavier and can damage ink cartridges in transit if packaged together.

    • Why do I need to recycle a minimum of 5 ink / 3 toner cartridges when I recycle online?

      This allows for a more efficient and eco-friendly way for us to process these requests. Consolidating cartridges reduces packaging waste and saves fuel.
